Abortion is part of body autonomy. But it is the only case of body autonomy is denied on the basis of "other life". Let's see other situations:
1. Someone needs a blood/marrow transfusion to not die. Body autonomy dictates you aren't obliged to donate. Not even if you are related, are your children or babies. You can let the other person, already born, die right there.
2. Someone needs an organ donation but the recently deceased decided for whatever reason that doesn't want to donate. The person dies even if the corpse doesn't need the organs anymore and, let's be honest, would never know what happens to the organs.
Yet, when it comes to phoetus, they are allowed to use the body of a woman even if they aren't person and won't be allowed to use it once born and being a real baby.
And I can come with plenty of examples were "pro-lifers" show they don't care about life when real babies and people are involved.
Pregnancy doesn't happen in the void, happens to a person. In her body. Some women die because it. Yet, you claim it is not about body autonomy. If not, what is it about? about property? who owns the uterus and the rest of the body affected by the pregnancy? Because we have already seen that in other cases of body automony vs life, body autonomy trumps.
And if you want to argue that it is not about a woman's body, then it won't matter if the phoetus is removed from the womb. It would develop independly, right? By the way, this is called reduction to absurd and is a logical argument.
Everyone has a right to body autonomy, but only part of society has that right questioned. It is telling.
