And many men also have counts of 10 or more women. In my country that is normal. When you are young, you date and fool around, learn about yourself and what you want in a partner. So when you finaly settle, you do it with a better knowledge and the relationship has more chances of sucess.

On the other hand, many people who "save themselves" might find out that what they thought they wanted is not what they really want or need and break up. No shame in admiting that and breaking up to try again. But that is not hypergamy, but life. And both sexes break up.

I think it is ironic that many men prefer inexperienced women because they don't want to be compared, because if an experienced women picks you, it means that you have "won" the comparison and she actually prefer you over others.

Then again, people have a right to chose and men who want inexperienced women wouldn't have been right for me even when I was inexperienced. hahaha

What I'm trying to say is that dating is just meeting other person. You can click with them and be comfortable and have attraction and everything else or not. People might take several dates to actually know. Or even years. Or they can change over time. As long as they are respectful and honest, they shouldn't be shamed for dating, ending relationships that doesn't work anymore or trying again. that goes for both men and women.

And when women stop being shamed for dating around, heterosexual men would find easier to find dates. After all, if you are going to be shamed for having a count of 10, you might also reject a lot more because you "need" to get it right in one try (or just a few). If you can date around as much as you want without being shamed, you might give a chance to someone you are unsure about because, why not?
