At first semester the only abortions perfored are to save the life of the mother. Glad to know that Ololade would rather women die. Besides, at that stage most times what actually happen is a programed birth by C-section, not an abortion (so the should be delivered already happens).

The fact is that the real difference is that the fetus is using the womans body. And it is way more taxing for the body than blood or marrow donation. Birth is painful and recovery in the best scenario takes 6 weeks. In the worst scenarios the mother could die. And what do you know? The thirth semester abortions are the procedures to save the lives of those women who are at risk.

So yes, he is doing a false equivalency. And he does from a position where his own body integrity would never be denied. Neither his life be at risk.

So tell me, do we force death on the women who need a third semester abortion?

A real case: If a woman on the third semester discover that she has cancer and needs urgen surgery and chemotherapy is told that she needs an abortion in order to receive that treatment, what do we do? We force to wait (and die) or do we allow her to get the treatment she needs to survive? Because it seems to me that Ololade won't hesitate to murder her and think that by praising her "sacrifice" (as if was willing" it is all good. Those are the real stakes at third semester. And that is the real difference, fetus need the women's body to develop. Can we give the fetus up for adoption at any time? At 3 months? 4th? No? Then fetus are not the same as babies. So false equivalency.
