Change her mind? For that, she should have wanted at some point and she never wanted it. YOU and those men simple assumed that she did because it was convenient to pretend it wasn’t rape.

Does the term ‘victim blaming’ sound familiar?

The fact that she trusted those men and lower her guard around them doesn’t mean she consented. Neither them stopping magically absolve them from what they have already done.

So, if you want to be “Compasionate”, don’t tell her to “forgive herself” for trusting them. Absence of “no” doesn’t mean yes. But if you are going to argue the opposite, please, allow me to apply to contracts. I mean, you haven’t said no to selling you house for one dollar, so if for whatever reason, like being sleep or unable you can’t, that would make the contract valid, right? Let’s face it, rape is the only crime where some people defense is “she didn’t say no quick enough”. Funny how consent is clear in any other case.

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
