Considering how they also complained when France banned telling lies about abortion, it is not surprising they do the same when they are told that they won't be allowed to harm people to further their hateful agenda.

I mean, one the complains they had was literally that if they weren't allowed to lie, then how would they persuade people? They probably didn't realize that means that they didn't have any valid arguments. Same here.

Without lies, threats and propaganda, it would be a matter of time their communities drift away and disappear.

Then again, we have the gay german priest asking for more tolerance. So they might end changing (5 centuries late) and retell history claiming they were in favor of gay rights from the begining. Church is hipocrite like that.
