Depends on what is your angle. Sometimes you don't need men to listen at all. After all, some men would never listen regardless of your words, tone, the carefully chosen moment to say it, etc. But they would notice a change in your behaviour. As in rejecting dates, not doing things for them and so on. So some times you only need other women to listen and for a certain number to change the way they react to some actions.

That is basically what we are seeing now. Men took notice of feminism not because our rethoric changed, but because women are working, earning money and saying no to men who treat them as less in enough numbers to be noticeable. Lower maternity rates, single mothers that choose to be single and become mother through artificial insemination, women who abort when is not the right time for them to carry a pregnancy...

Those men still won't listen and never will, but it doesn't matter because there is already some change.
