If I were to point out double standars in dating, I would say that the expectation that men plan and pay is one. While it is changing, there is still that presure.

And both men and women have presure to comform. I think that the presure to comform is some of the things that "get me". But both for men and women, because I think it is unfair.

The irony, is that I think that we agree on some things. And I read also your answers. As for discussions, depends on what you get out of it. For me is entertainment from time to time. Sometimes I do learn things. As I said, I do enjoy an exchange of ideas. I don't really mind if we end "agreeing to disagree". You said your piece and I said mine. That for me is enough.
