Everyone is aware that sometimes contraception fails, that is why body integrity requires that people is allowed to decide to keep or stop a pregnancy.
Having said that, it is not about punishing people for having sex. It is only women who are punished. Otherwise, men would be persecuted with the same vitriol when havign sex.
But while they invade women's privacy like this:
They aren't using the same tactics to persecute men who have had sex, gotten a women pregnant and then walk away.
There is a pattern and the same people who would force a pregnancy and a birth on a women, would also call her a whore if raped (and force the pregnancy anyway). And would also say that women "owe" sex to their husbands. So they also deny body integrity in that regard.
On the other hand, they would consider cruel to force "youbng men" to donate blood becauseit seems that life stops being more important than body integrity when a men's body integrity is involved.
What all those patern show is that it is about controlling women and not consider them people. They have no problem with men having sex and walking away from the results leaving the woman alone with the pregnancy. Then, they would say it is also the women's fault for choosing badly who to have sex with. And if it was rape? Then it is also the woman's fault for being there, wear clothes they deem inapropiate, trusting the wrong person, your pick. Again, there is a pattern.
Just tell me, how many laws are those "anti abortion" pushing to make sure that men are hold accountable? And how many resources are devoting to that compared with resources to ban an prosecute abortion? If it was about sex, men would also be punished, not just with words, but actions and resources.
They also claim that they would happily would sacrifice their lives to save a children. Then you ask them if they are marrow donors and the answer is no, even if there are child with leuquemia that need a donation to survive and that won't kill them. When it comes to those childrens lives and their actual body integrity, they are all excuses. So look at their actions, are they really punishing men or just saying that they would?
