Everyone is pre-judged by their looks. Is called stereotypes and the ones for black people cast them as criminals even "before they open their mouths". When they complained about that, white people tend to prioritize their own hurt feelings like you just did here.

Difference here is that while you just have to deal with your feelings, they have to deal with a very aggressive police force. So I would say that dealing with hurt feelings is way easier. And I'm saying this as a white person.

By the way, similar arguments are used by "poor hurt men" who do sexist things when they are called sexist.

So, yeah, what you did is manipulation at its finest, since you try to use your hurt feelings as a way to derail conversation about how unfair things are for the people who are racially profiled or mistreated because their race.

Maybe you can try to do it the other way around, try to do better and speak up against racism until that becomes the norm among white people, so people can start to expect better when they see us. Right now, you opening your mouth confirmed the assumption.

We are not entitled to endless opportunities and second chances or that people assume the best and keep offering us "the benefit of the doubt" even after repeated offenses. Grownups can deal with their own hurt feelings and that is basically what we need to do to makes things better and earn the right to be seen in a better light. So if you don't want to be "called a piece of slime" that is what it takes, be a grown up and do better. Or at least try.

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
