Exactly, you are living alone. No one is asking you for things like they do to housewives. Many errands and chores are about catering to others. No one suddently say that they want to eat something specific and make you prepare a different meal. Or make you look for an specific shirt. Or forgot that they have an important meeting and need you to bring them something. And of course, if someone in the family is sick, no one expects you to drop everything and go to help.

There are plenty of examples of how work "pop up" for a housewife. Your "solution" is outsorcing. But that cost money and most people doesn't have it. Not just that, even if they have it, since there is a housewife "why spend money on that when she can do it?". Expect that being a househusband is something similar.

You don't want to see it, but it is there for anyone paying attention.
