Fairy tales have different interpretations. The true love trope, has evolved too. That is why sleeping beauty doesn't work that well anymore.

The prince only know about how she looks. She doesn't even know that. The "fate" part is tricky because it removes agency on people. They earn or decide nothing. As if they were puppets.

It could be "solved" if they have know before the curse. Share a momment.

As for Cinderella, while she is beautiful inside, the prince has no way to know about her personality, they just dance. He doesn't see her doing something nice to other person. Neither the other way around.

You could add context and past and other interactions to reinforce your moral. But in the dosney movie, that is not what is shown.

As for Beast, it is troublesome that we have the idea that we can change others. I think that the grimm version works slightly better, since the Beast treats Belle well in that version.

That is not to say that you can still enjoy the movies. But they won't work for everyone.
