From my perspective, many of the domestic skills are what I would call "life skills". Cooking, laundry, cleaning... Those are things that should be taught to all children son when they grow up, they are able to be independent. A man who can't cook, do his own laundry or clean his house, is not independent either.

Once everyone understand that those things are needed in any house, the next things is to share the work and responsibility of doing that in the family.

Outsourcing cooking everyday is not practical and, many times, less healthy (take away everyday is not good). But there is no real reason for the woman who be the one who has to cook everyday. What we need is for people to understand that it is not a woman responsibility, but adults' responsibility (and some task can be the teenagers and children's responsibility).
