I agree that there are men who are happy being single.

But I think that no one "needs" a partner. They might enjoy having a partner, they might choose it and be happy having a partner, but they don't "need" it.

Sure a good relationship is great and meaningful. But a bad one is terrible. It is good that now people can choose to be single or partnered according to their preferences.

Also, some people find connection with family and friends. Sure, it is great if you find connection with a partner, but is not the "end game" that it used to be. And that is good because it allow people to live the way that makes them the most happy within their options.
