I disagree. The audience for this series and movies is good. It is a different public than you, but if you look at the box office numbers or audience numbers, movies and shows with diverse cast are doing better. So producers have noticed an opportunity and take it.

Sure, some people might not like it, but they have other products available. They are fragmenting the market in order to increase their audience.
