I disagree on this too. Historically, it was the father who decided. Many times the father also decided for the sons. It was a economic and political decision. XD

Anyway, sure, now you can decide and so can women. Which means that the women you want to date, might decide that they don't want to date you based on your values or those preferences. And some of the women you would date, at some point might decide to break up. No big deal, really.

But your "right to choose" is not going to change the women's preferences for K-pop stars and other prety boys, artist or whatever they fancy.
