I don't see how competitive is related to mature. You can be competitive and immature or competitive and mature. Or not competitive and perfectly mature, etc.

Competitivity is not a good trait in itself. Could be, but also could be the worse. Depends on what you do with it. And women can also be competitive (which is usually associated to "bitchy" or selfish XD).
