I just told you. You have access to google. If you were actually interested on campaigning for free speech, you would just do it, instead of asking me for more links.
In fandom, Black Panther is mainstream. I've probable also seen more obscure films that many people haven't, but I'm not using them, I'm using a high budget film that was a huge international success. The controversy of rotten tomatoes made them change the rating system so people couldn't vote before film was in cinemas. That was how evident was the boycott. It appeared on the news. Considering that Gina Carano played a secondary role in the mandalorian and you are aware of her firing, I think it is safe to assume that you were aware of the attacks on black panther. But of you aren't, you can google.
Same about the petition to fire Bree Larson for her feminist views.
You can google about gamergate. And google about attacks to female journalist. I mean, international amnesty also have campaigns to defend free speech.
There are plenty of real attacks to free speech to choose. But Gina firing isn't as all the counter examples I cited prove. Not just that, freedom of speech is protected, she could shue disney if it was true. But they just need to point to Chris Prat to show that they aren't firing people for their politics of tweets. And they would probably add their analysis on ratings and popularity. They have already recast Quicksilver, they could do the same with Cara Dune. It is their property and they have the right to decide who to hire and how to use it.
But I'm telling you this, when fandom doesn't like what they do with a brand, we stop buying merchandise, write fanfictions and might do crowdfunding to support new projects. If you are so fond of Gina Carano, you can do the same we do when our favorite shows are cancelled, or our favorite characters cut from a show. ;)
