I think that some conservative men know that those things are rude and don't do that. It would be unfair to not acknowledge that. And by pointing out the men who don't do that, we make more obvious that "men aren't like that" but that some men choose to be like that while others are perfectly respectful. And of course we aren't going to treat the respectful men the same than we react to the ones who are disrespectful. We like respectful men and dislike the ones who aren't.

But yes, the "boys will be boys" is toxic. And many women prefer no men at all than being with the wrong one. I agree with you.
