I think we kind of agree on the part of development, but disagree on what needs to be developed.

I mean, I think that the real challenge is not so much social skills (some people without social skills get laid and other people with decent social skills don't) but learn to deal with frustration and disappointment. Which is also difficult and a pain in the ass but a requirement to live better.
