At some point, you learn what kind of suggestion would be listened and which would be ignored or be taken as an offense. Regardless of their merits.

The thing is that the aim of the logistic companies is to maximize profits, not improve logistics.

If to have more profits they need to improve logistics, they would improve logistics. But if shortages increase their profits, they would allow shortages.

The only way to change their behaviour, would be to move business to other things (like buying more local products) or to add clauses to contracts that penalize delays. Or maybe for government to tax the abuse of port facilities.

But they won't change a single thing until it has a cost for them.
