I'm aware that sexist people (also some women) believe that domestic chores are "women's work". But in practice, domestic chores are "survival skills". You need to know how to do them and do them to live on your own. Not knowing/wanting to do them makes you dependent.
As for "submission", I think that needing submission from others shows that you are insecure and weak. After all, people not only follow but also seek advice from people they consider wise or intelligent. If you need someone to submit, is because they don't see you are wise or intelligent, otherwise they would follow your example or ask you what to do when in doubt.
And the wisest/more intelligent of all people, teach others to make their own choices, so they can grow and take on bigger, more complex things. That way, they would be free to grow too into bigger and more complex/rewarding things.
That is what I learned from othersmore wise and intelligent than me.
