I'm going to point out the obvious. There is this thing called taxes. You do expect people to pay taxes and to finance things like the wall. Even if they didn't wanted a wall. You might want to claim that you don't expect them to pay for it, but the fact is that californians and new yorkers are paying for the wall, not just texans. And you expect them to pay for the army. So you do expect them to pay for the things you valued.

And it is OK. People vote what they want their taxes to pay for. But don't delude yourself, you might not want people to pay for other's healthcare and want to defend that people doesn't have to pay for others on that specific service.But you are voting for people to pay for ICE, when that might be a service that rey doesn't want. Hell, part of US population wants to defund police but they are forced to pay for it anyway...
