I’m going to quote you from another post:

“I don’t tout the “women are oppressed and women are victims” party line”

Now I’m going to quote you from your last post:

“Oh, and women are victims. Especially American women. Move on.”

I guess your “common sense” is a magical power that allow for direct contradictions or something. XD

And then you change topics. You’ll be glad to know that washing hands was already a habit before COVID. Regardless the 2 centuries insult that feminist are dirty which I suppose is what you tried to imply. Just sad by the way.

As for the stay safe, COVID-19 show one of the lies traditional men and women told. They always try to sell the line that men protect women so women owe them submission because of that. But COVID not only show that their protection is faulty at best, but that since most doctors, nurses, clinic auxiliars, cleaners and food stores workers. So women are protecting men. So, are men going to submit to women now to show appreciation for their protection?

Neither makes sense your reference to the white house or those guys. I guess you want to imply that the other restrictions that are put on women and that limit their freedom are like the ones from COVID-19. This crisis must be a dream come true for sexist people, since it force women back in the home. Sandly for you, remote working with computers has been already invented and, let's face it, we might found out that some men belong in the home too. After all, nothing prevent men from ironing, cleaning toilets or cooking…

So now that you have time, I encourage you to try something new, try critical thinking you seem to confuse “common sense” with things that have always been said. And using your nice example of “washing hands”, I’ll refer you to the story of Ignaz Philipp Semmelweis. In his time “common sense” said that washing hands wasn’t needed. And some centuries ago “common sense” said that the earth was plain. It is funny how many times “common sense” is so wrong. XD

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
