You are right that there is a long way to true feminism. After all, with true feminism, not only some women would be able to be SAHP, but also some men would.

Anyway, the thing is that having more choices is usually good if you are willing to make them. And I think that some people tend to forget the parts of the past that weren't so good or that didn't worked well. Poor women needed to work anyway, because they couldn't afford not to. Yet, they are forgotten when people defend to go back to that.
