Interesting, so in a situation where she still cares for him but seems afraid of speaking because it would make things worse, if she doesn’t leave she is the selfish one. But leaving might not be possible for many reasons. Not just financial, but maybe even safety issues. Also, she seems to still care about what would happen to him, and leaving him could left him in a bad/worse situation.

And if she leave, people would said she is being selfish for leaving him when he needs her. A no win situation. Because of course is on her to find the perfect solution for something that is not her doing. Right.

Well, I think that managing men’s feelings and actions is not women’s responsibility. And neither are selfish for not knowing how to do it.
