Interesting that you don't mention other adaptations like Malefica or that snow white focused on the hunter...

Now, you are entitled to your oppinion, but some people might enjoy those. For me those are no different than another pirates of the caribean movie. I'm not interested, so I won't see it. But it is perfectly OK if they make it and people who is interested go to the cinema.

And if you become tired of franchises and adaptations, you have indie cinema. I specially enjoy serie B movies. :)
