It is a false asociation to think that feminism is exclusive from west. Each culture has its version.

Then again, it is a convenient way to dismiss the women within a culture who are against forced marriages or not allowing women to own property or learn a trade...

And it is also interesting how the punishment for the women who doesn't accept those things in their culture are ignored. If the punishment for not marrying the old man is death (honor killings), of course most girls would do it and won't complain. They want to live. If the punishment is being rejected by your family, it is still a harsh punishment. Take away the punishment and see how many girls still want that.
