Look, there is something called “analytics”. For your post it is clear that you don’t understand marketing or fandom. I didn’t said just “diverse” I said “body diverse”. Alt-right would call that “manly”, “fat” or both. See, Gina Carano’s body is not like Ivanka’s, Malania’s or most models that the right wing likes. The people who celebrate different body types for women? Are the the ones you despise as “SJW” or “wokes”. Not just that, right wingers released an edited starwars episode VII were they cut Rei’s part because they didn’t liked Rei fighting. They thought women shouldn’t fight and that they should just be submissive and compliant wives. That is Breitbart public that the Daily wire caters to. And that is about 4.3 millions unique viewers compared with the 300 millions Disney has.

Those are the cold numbers.

So I would say that even if the people you call “most reasonable ” might not be “woke” that they might be a minority. Again 17 millions compared to 300 millions. I would say that most people are reasonable and not just that, those people liked Frozen or the new shows like Wandavision aimed to people that you consider “self-parodied”.

Let’s be clear, Alt-right would edit a full star wars film to cut a character’s part (Rei) because they didn’t liked she wasn’t submissive. They won't watch a show if the main character is black. They didn’t liked John Boyega and were very vocal about that. They didn’t liked Black Panther either. So the people who you call “most reasonable” can’t handle black main characters. Or powerful women or gay, etc. Not just that, apparently, they can’t handle either actors who doesn’t share their political views, which is why they are calling to cancel Alyssa Milano. Ironic, right?

My point remains, at the end of the day, the 17 millions of Alt-righters who won’t buy most Disney’s products anyway (And weren’t part of the consumer base to begin with) would never made up for the 300 millions that enjoyed Frozen. And you are wrong, the fact that “woke” people can put up with people like Gina, doesn’t mean they have to or want to. Market has a lot of competition so if they don’t like something, they can just unsubscribe. So this is what this is about. Gina could have made them lose more subscribers than she would have brought.

And Breitbart, Daily wire and the other far right news are competing for a small market that is less and less profitable by the day. Specially after the riot at the capitol.

By the way, did you remember Milo? He was one of their stars, Roxane? Where are they? Because while the right wing cheered them back in the day, now that they don’t have the spotlight they seem to be forgotten. Lucy Lawless, Alyssa Milano and other actresses continue to work thanks to fandom. I would say there is a lesson there: Fandom is loyal and diverse, Alt-right isn’t.
