Men keep going about "earning potential", but we do see some men with money that struggle to find girlfriends and men with no money (like musicians) that have no problem getting dates.

For example, the guy who made incels notorius, Elliot Rodger, was rich. In fact, in his "manifesto" one of the things that make him feel aggravated was that he has a good car and was rich. And he considered himself handsome. But the women he liked and feel entitled to, didn't wanted to have sex with him.

I mean, look at his pictures and what is know of him, he didn't fit your stereotype. He had money and looks. It was his terrible entitlement and personality what made him appalling.
