Most young women doens't like older men, but are taught to be polite. So when older men approach us, instead of a bold rejection, the older men get soft rejections that they ignore. I've seen it plenty of times and has happened to me.

Eventually, when they get no where, because we never liked them to begin with, they become angry because in their minds "we lead them on".

Sure, a few young women like older men. But many of those women only want something temporary. One night, a few weeks, nothing more. After all, it soon becomes obvious that the older man can't keep up with them. They go to concerts, party and travel and basically have a lot more energy and no desire to settle yet.

So while a few age-gap relationships work, I won't say that there are so many. Without the outside presure to settle, young women are just enjoying themselves. But the average older men is not going to have many younger women going around.
