Neither we are expected to. I mean, trans women keep reminding us that there are women with a penis. They acknowledge the body differences. But we are more than our bodies. And I'm saying it as a cis women who is getting old and whose body doesn't reflect how I might feel.

If I expect to be treated based on my actions and who I am instead of my body, I owe the same courtesy. Our bodies are just a part of who we are, not our whole identity. Same for trans.
