No, I don't believe that men want to make women's lives miserable. But I do think that there is a different perception that might end in many problems.

To put an analogy, when you say that men experience "sex scarcity" and I say that there is not such scarcity and offer an example of how men can have more sex. It is like saying "I'm thirsty but there is nothing to drink", and i point out that there is water and you insist that there is nothing to drink because there is no lemonade.

Men's behaviour is not consistent with "scarcity" because if it was that, then they would accept the other sex options that right now are discarding. You now, the older women, the fat ones, the ones who are promiscuos...

You remind me of a friend who complained of how hard was to get women. Then I went out with such friend, pointed out that two women were hitting on him and he was like "Oh, but i don't like those!". Well, duh.

The problem is not scarcity of sex, the problem is that they can't have sex with the women they want.
