No, they just won't waste more time hearing the same arguments over and over again. They are tired of regressives believing they have a right to their attention. "Cancel culture" is about changing chanels and walking away instead of suffering through another rant that won't change their minds anyway so someone that complains whenever they speak back and haven't taken the time to listen to them.

That is the thing, when you are at your home and someone calls your door to preach to you, or derail a conversation in another unwanted attempt to convert you, it comes to a point that it is clear that you can't even expect basic consideration from certain regresives. So the best strategy is disengage. And seeing how much protest regresives make about "cancel" culture, I think that it is because it works.
