No. This is a lie repeated many times. Women are attracted to different things because we are people. Some women might like one thing and other women like another.

But the incredible success of DiCaprio character in Titanic (a prety poor boy) among women, then the pretty vampire guy from Twilight, the multiple boy bands, the succes of the K-pop bands (the idols are pretty boys who wear jewelry and make up), Harry Styles, David Bowie in Labirynth, Chalamet... All those pretty boys and men are incredibly succesful with girls and women who lust after them. Those men aren't physically strong or dominant. They are beautiful and talented and their characters are kind, not dominant.

But whenever girls and women "fangirls" about men that they like and lust about that doesn't fit what men like to thing themselves as, they are mocked and their actual tasted ignored. Which might very well be the reason about why "Larrys" and "Patricks" aren't as successful anymore. Because neither of the are "getting it".

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
