No. Women don't expect men to be providers. That is a self imposed standard by men who want "trad wives". The thing is that if you want an equal partner and a two income home, you should also accept that half the work at home is yours. And that important decisions are shared, not just decided by the man. The real problem is that many men want to be "dominant", the "head of the house", served first, treated as the most important person at home, etc. But would only bring one wage. That is not equal and doesn't work.

The videos you see, you should contextualize with the expectation those women suffer: do everything at home, while looking great and being submisive. Context helps a lot to understand why they say what say.
