The alternative is simple: let people decide if they want to marry or not. Let them be happy the way they want to. Some people enjoy the freedom that comes with being single and there is nothing wrong with that. If a man enjoys travelling and having flings, and going out with friends, no one considers that he hates women. So why a woman who enjoys her life the same way is considered to hate men instead of just living and enjoying her life? She hurts no one. And she owes nothing.

At the end of the day, not wanting a relationship if it doesn't work for you or wanting to live your life the way you want to, hurts no one. So no hate there. Unless of course you consider that women owe men their unhappiness in order for men to get the way regardless the price women have to pay.
