Not Elliot Rodger. He has both parents present in his life, they cared for him and treated him well. Did everything on their hand to make his life easier. Apparently that was the real problem, he couldn't handle not getting his way.

I mean, I'm sure some incels have had a difficult life or even abused. But that is not what made them incels.

The only common thing that incels have is that they are involuntary celibates. Each of them for their own reasons. And a very visible percentage of them have become hostile to women, which made them even less likely to stop being celibate, because there are less masochist among women that would put up with those levels of hate than incels.
