And then you have the inequality in practice. Like being paid less for the same work. Not being selected at jobs because we "might get pregnant", and plenty of other examples. We do provide data for that. Yet, that data is ignored for romanticized narratives.
But even with the actual inequality we face, we have already seeing more discoveries and inventions by women. Yet, what we are not seeing is recognition of those achievements by men. Example: all the women who were pioneers in IT. Yet we keep listening that the problem is that we are not trying hard enough, that we do have the "wrong victim mentality". No, the problem is that no matter what we do, there are people who won't give us due credit. And that feel attacked when we say so.
