Not true. That might be your preferences and it is OK. But other women like shy men. Or creative men. Or men who are able to share their feelings.

If I'm honest, the kind of men that you describe as "highly desiderable" are a hard no for me. To each their own, I guess.

And if we are on the ranting side, there is nothing as anoying as someone overconfident but that doesn't have the skills and knowledge to back it up. I prefer someone normal and humble, with strong suits, not so strong suits and weaknesses, but the awareness to not try to pretend that is good at everything. If you don't know, you don't know and that is OK. But if you claim to know something and it is obvius that you don't, pretending for the shake of pride makes you a fool. Acording you that is "masculine", acording me that is an idiot. Specially if asking for help (yes, even from a woman) might easily solve the problem at hand. So good riddance all those "masculine" men.
