Please, google "pregnant women working the fields". Or about women's work in mid ages or any other time in history. Women did physical work while pregnant. They also did work indoors. But acomodations for pregnant women is relatively recent. And even now, you can see pictures of pregnant women working the fields. So that idea that women need to stay indoors is our "modern" idea. But not what actually happened.
