She doesn't want equality, other women do. She want to convice women who couldn't care less about the things she misses to give up things that make them happy so she could have patriarchy back.

She is basically trying and failing to sell patriarchy to other women. While men seem to be quite happy with her views, women object. XD

Hint: most women doesn't want to be provided for at the cost of being barred of the good jobs. They want the good jobs and people to share the burden at home ;)

And you are right on point, she is allowed to go to countries with those views. She just doesn't want to.
