Some men are like that too. I've been blocked a couple of times by conservative men who didn't liked that I pointed out fallacies on their arguments. And I added links to the data I used, but apparently, using data was "manipulative". Go figure. hahaha

At the end of the day, you can't know if they were offended or if they just wanted to have the last word/end the conversation. But the good thing is that you won't read them again. I'm unsure if they can read me or not, but I don't really care.

So that is a "some people" trait. And internet make it safer to deal with that. I mean, when it is someone at work, you would still have to deal with the other person. A block on internet is meaningless. XD

What I can say is that sometimes, we have been listening to the same talking points over an over. And not only we disagree, we already have answered and the people reading doesn't want to understand your point or address it. At some point, when conversation becomes circular, it is better to quit.

Sadly, I'm the opposite. I keep discusing, and that is probably unhealthy too. Virtue is in the middle and all that. hahaha

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
