Sometimes you don't need to appeal to people. It is something that took me a long time to learn. When it comes to decisions about your life, you don't need their approval. In fact, sometimes it pays to go ahead and do things that they actively disapprove of but that would be good for you. That is the thing, they would never approve of women, homosexual or queer people existing and being treated like people. And since they are going to disapprove no matter what, just go all the way and be outrageous. After all, they can't disapprove more than they already do of us just breathing in the same world as them.
Sure the system only favours them, but then again, they have made it as if you could ask for the 10,000$ for things that could be proved to help in an abortion. They didn't especify that natural abortions don't count. And the same thing that can be used to prosecute women, can be used to prosecute contaminating companies since the evidence that they cause natural abortions are there. Then you force them to choose. To not punish the contaminating company, they have to accept an exception for natural abortion (good for women who have natural abortions at least). Or they have to actually punish the contaminating company. The trick is to force them into choices where all options are bad for them.
Gerrymandering and elections are more difficult. If I had to think something, I would say that maybe democrats should try to "metagame". Metagame meant that if you know that conservatives are going to cheat and you know how they collect information for cheating later, you feed them information designed to mislead them. So when they cheat, they use that information instead of the good one.
Example: you do know they do gerrymandering. So maybe democrats should start saying that they would vote republican, so republicans think that some areas would be easily won and "thin" the area in favour of other areas that they thought would be more difficult. That is, find out how they gather information and feed them lies or bad data designed to "cheat the cheater". It could even pay if democrats can register to vote in different areas than the one they live in and things like that. If I worked for democrat politicians there, I would be already investigating and thinking counter-tactics. Instead of trying that the republicans to stop gerrymandering, I would try to fool them into doing it in my favor letting them think that if they do it a "certain way" they would "own me". Much in the same way some good fighters lower their guard on purpose knowing that the opponent would try to land a blow there, only to block and counterattack because they have created the situation.
Hell, considering that the idiots bought brand new sneakers to burn them while wearing them just to "show the libtards", I wonder how the marketing teams are not using that strategy more often to sell more.
Of course, if you trick them, they would hate you. But they already have accused democrats of stealing an election that they won without tricks and with them cheating as much as they wanted. They betrayed their country by attempting a coup. It is not as if they were going to ever respect the results if they aren't what they want. And since no matter what they won't compromise, why bother? Just don't compromise at all. It is not as if they can do much worse, because they have already escalated as much as they can and in doing so, they have lost most of their negotiating power. Progressives just need to realize that since they would never get their approval, then they have room to do all the things that weren't doing because of "compromise". No need to meet in de middle with terrorists. So what if they are upset? They'll use their weapons? But that already happened on January 6th. And in the periodic mass shootings where they just repeat the "thoughts and prayers". They are already doing their worst even when you try to please them. So simply, don't.
The aim is not so much to change them but to free yourself from them. Not waste your resources on them and trick them to spend theirs on things that won't produce as many results. And when you need to shame them into something, don't call them sexist or racist, use things like "antipatriotic" or "sensitive/emotional". After all, the success of "incel" is because in their minds sound like "loser".
