Sorry, but the part about the charisma is your opinion. Other people might have different preferences and box office seems to agree with me.

You accuse me of being "team Amber" just for pointing out something that it is there on plain sight. Go to imdb, look at Johnny's films and then look at their box office. And the selling of merchandise which is other thing Disney care about. Films like Mortdecai did't do well. I even have to look if he has something more worth of mentioning and that is part of the problem. If the other films were popular/good, I wouldn't need to do that.

The income was dropping and, yes, he caused trouble in the shootings that cost lots of money. There were news back in the day. And people didn't like his version of Grindewald, he has no chemistry with Jude Law at all.

If you pay attention, Disney have been hiring new (cheaper) talent and making them stars. Both for marvel and starwars. It wouldn't be surprising that they hire someone new for pirates and revamp the franchise (Like the guy who played Eddie at strangers things). And that has nothing to do with Amber, but with the fact that he is getting older and other actors have become more popular among younger public which is Disney's and Harry Potter's target. Example: Chris Evans or Chris Hemsword and his brother. Again, that happens in Hollywood all the time.

You might no like to hear that the problem is not "team Amber" but the average viewers that just become indiferent to Johnny and stopping paying to see him. Or that the new younger viewers like Thor or Cap better.

And since the problem would still be there once the trial is forgotten, he just would have delayed to be replaced. Either he gets a huge success soon or it would be like it was for other actor who grow old.

If you think that talking about production cost, box office and merchandise income makes no sense, I'm afraid that you need to pay more attention, because that is what Hollywood is about. They are about money and Jonny is not making them enough money.

So let me ask you a question, did you buy any Jack Sparrow toy? If not, there you have your answer. You, a loyal Johnny's fan, aren't buying and giving their money and the ones who would buy toys, aren't that insterested in Johnny. Disney make decision looking at spreadsheets, not tabloids. And if you don't get something that simple, then it is on you.
