Star Wars is a brand. It makes money selling merchandise. Cara Dune's was popular among the people that you would call SJW, "woke" or less nice terms for people who defend diversity (among other things). She decided to offend the same people who would have bought the Cara Dune's doll and watched a show starring that character and as a result, Hasbro cancelled the doll deal and the public lost interest in the character.

So basically, she was cancelled because the right won't buy a body diverse doll of a woman soldier. The would more "traditionally feminine" dolls. Like the old disney princess (so basically they would be buying another brand owned by disney). She failed to be a profitable brand and was fired for that. That is capitalism for you.

Now, you might think that her deal with Daily wire would make up for that. But if you compare actual numbers, Disney has around 300 millions of subscriptions while Daily wire 1.7 millions subscribers on youtube and far less resources.

Disney is a private business that wants to make money, they fired her because she make them lose money. Remember: Disney are not socialist, they are capitalist, so if you make them lose money, you are fired. ;)
