Supposedly, Eve was tricked by the snake (devil) which is the lier and trickster by excelence. Adam was persuaded by Eve. Even as told by the bible, Eve believed what she told Adam (didn't lie). This means Adam made a free choice.

Yet, the punishment for Eve was worse (although she was the one who could step on the snake acording god. Which might imply she is the one who can beat the devil). Anyway, blaming Eve for Adam's choice is saying Adam was a puppet. So one more time men won't want to take responsability for their choices and action, even if it is in fantasy. XD

Stories tells us a lot about the way people think. Blaming Eve is telling about not taking responsability for own choices.
