That is not what I see. Many women prefer those jobs. The thing is that after they study and prepared for the job, they find hostility by some people. Or they are asked to take care of children and elder and given no choice on that because the men in the family won't do it. As a result, they have to pass on jobs they would prefered because they can't leave the children and elder unnatended. That is not preference, it is need.

And it is not you or most men who do it. It is the way our society works. Example: I did have a coworked who wanted to work partial time to share the care of his children with his wife. That was his preference and was totally legal. He was presured into giving up his right to reduce hours and work long hour by the bosses/company. As a result, his wife had to pospone going back to work. Not their preference, but need for money/not be fired. That is why I'm trying to say. In case you wonder, the bosses were men too. They probably claimed that they helped him to thrive in his career. But it wasn't a free choice for him. That is why I talk about conditioned choice.

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
