The people who call themselves "prolife" don't care about women's lives. Or even children's lives. We do know because most of them are against help for poor families and they are OK with literal children going hungry after they force a poor woman to carry them. They won't pay more taxes to protect those children or to pay for healthcare for pregnant women who ensures that the phoetus doesn't die during pregnancy. Neither like the idea of paid maternal leave. On the other hand, they usually support guns, even if there are mass shooting at schools. It is a pattern.

Once you see the things they support and the things they are agains, it is clear that banning abortion is just a way to punish women for sex. But since saying that would have bad reactions, they lie and claim that it is to protect babies. OR try to say that they are "not responsible" for the wellbeing of such babies once born. Apparently, "giving them for adoption" is like magic that erases all the very real deaths of children in their heads. Honestly, the best strategy is to avoid such people as much as you can, because you won't get compasion from them.
