The problem is that if you mix rightful criticism over the script with rants about "race/gender swaping" or "ideoligical modern language", the actual criticism might be lost there.

The script and dialogs could be improved, the color or gender of the actors is irrelevant to the plot. Having new characters might be interesting. Dialogs were bland some times, but that could happen too in a more close adaptation.
