The stats you link, count the same a mass shooter (white man killed by cops) than Black people already subdued. Teh stats you link, include “Risk of being killed by police use of force in the United States by age, race–ethnicity, and sex” but for their statistics use deaths by police, regardless circumstances. Well, mass shooters who are usually white, are counted on that statistics. Hence, my pointing out that you want to claim those are the same. They are not.
But it could be that you haven’t considered what is being counted there? I quote your study:
“We use data on police-involved deaths” They don’t differentiate someone subdued from someone shooting. Mass shooters usually end death by police, hence they are counted as “police-involved deaths”. They are usually white men. On the other hand, we have cases where people were at their homes who have done nothing (like Breonna Taylor and Daunte Writh) also counted as “police-involved deaths”. By quoting that study without acknowledging that, you are implying those are the same and, worse, trying to invisibilice the problem. But misreading studies is one of those things white supremacist do.
You have double standards. For you it is “emotional” when we call a murder a murder. Yet, you call me “naive” for asking for facts and data. As I said, we see you. We know who you are.
